About ISTE

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading national professional, non-profit society dedicated to the advancement of technical education in India. Established in 1941 as the Association of Principals of Technical Institutions (APTI) and reconstituted as ISTE in 1968, the society has played a pivotal role in fostering excellence in technical teaching, learning, and research.

ISTE is registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 and is committed to enhancing the quality and relevance of technical education for both faculty and students across the nation.

Formation of ISTE Telangana Section

The ISTE Telangana Section was established following the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Section, aligning with the vision and policies of the ISTE National Executive Council.
